Horse Riding Patagonia organise riding experiences in Torres del Paine National Park. Trips include 5 and 10 days. We can also arrange custom trips of any length. We will take you to all the wild corners and the best lookouts, an experience you will never forget. The multi-day trips are fully-supported and include a horseman or woman and a bilingual guide, who has knowledge of the areas, geology and of the flora and fauna. The accommodation is hand-picked to give you a good mix of authenticity and comfort. We offer trips in hotels and estancias. Custom trips can be organised in camping. Food on the trips is organic and local wherever possible and we try to give guests gourmet food typical from this area.
Born in Southampton in the UK, and formally a marketing Manager for a company in Exeter, Devon, Vicky moved to chile in 2005 and started a new chapter in Río Serrano, Torres del Paine National Park.
Vicky only ever wanted a dog and a horse, and finally managed to have both in Patagonia! (Actually five rescue dogs!!) For the first five years Vicky was based in Río Serrano and guided day rides and short multi-day rides with her former husband. Many fun days with travellers camping out under the stars (and sometimes rain!) in this amazing and special place.
Without internet or telephone signal (in those days), Vicky started spending more and more time in Puerto Natales building the business and started running the longer 5 and 10-day rides in 2013. Now, 100% based in Puerto Natales, Vicky runs the reservations and logistics side of the trips and is also good at making natural soups and putting together all the gourmet lunches for guests!
She sometimes manages to get out of the town to ride with the groups!
Born in on an estancia in Tierra del Fuego, Armando has been living adventures in Magallanes his whole life.
With a passion for estancia life, horses and mountaineering Armando is an excellent horseman, passionate and knowledgeable guide with over 20 years of experience and with his mountaineering background, accustomed to remote areas and managing groups in extreme places and weather.
He is a qualified Wilderness First Aider but as well as the serious side of looking after people in this sometimes difficult place and being very safety orientated, he is also good fun, down-to-earth and friendly!
We are proud to have been awarded two tourism certificates, the Certificate of Quality and the Certificate of Sustainablilty.
